Shift Lever
The forward and reverse shift lever is located between
the seats. Push the shift lever forward to engage the
forward direction. Pull the lever back to engage the
reverse direction.
DO NOT SWITCH from forward to reverse or vice-versa
while the vehicle is in motion. Make sure the vehicle is
completely stopped before shifting.
The forward and reverse shift lever should be in the
center “OFF” position, with the start switch off and the
park brake set whenever the operator leaves the vehicle.
Battery Disconnect
The battery disconnect switch is located to the right of
the driver seat. To disconnect the battery from the control
system, push down on the knob. Pull up on the knob to
reconnect the battery.
Odometer / Trip Odometer
VDO model speedometer only. The odometer and trip
odometer is an integral part of the speedometer
and can be found just below center on the
speedometer faceplate. In normal operating mode,
the odometer displays total mileage or trip
distance.
To toggle the display, depress and release the button
located at the bottom of the speedometer. Trip
distance is indicated by a “t” at the left of the
display.
To reset the trip distance to 0, depress and hold the
button for about 2 seconds.
Horn Switch
The horn switch is located in the center of the steering
wheel. Depress the switch to sound the horn, release it
to turn it off.
