When setting the number of VoIP lines to reserve, choices range from 1 to the
number of unreserved VoIP lines at this location.
Shared
means do not
reserve any VoIP lines.
1. Click
Advanced
. The
VoIP Resource Registration
window appears.
2. Set the
TalkSwitch VoIP networking calls
list to the number of VoIP lines
to reserve for use with the multi-location network.
3. Set the
TalkSwitch External IP extension calls
list to the number of VoIP
lines to reserve for external IP extensions. An external IP extension is an
IP extension located outside the office, which is treated as a local
extension.
4. Set the
Service Provider 1 calls
list to the number of VoIP lines to reserve
for use with the VoIP service provider.
As you reserve lines:
•
Total VoIP lines available on system
remains fixed, and shows the sum
of the VoIP lines within the TalkSwitch units at this location.
•
Total VoIP lines reserved
shows the number of VoIP lines that have
been reserved.
•
Total VoIP lines shared between all services
shows the number of VoIP
lines that have not been reserved.
