1.7. GPS Receiver Interface

1.7.1. General

The most important aspects of using GPS equipment is antenna position. The GPS antenna must be
located in an area that has a clear view of the sky. The GPS signals cannot penetrate foliage or struc-
tures. A good antenna position will provide optimal timing performance. See "1.2. Installation" on
page 10 for detailed installation instructions.
