Installing 2.5" and 3.5" Drives in the Peripheral Drawer
The peripheral drawer contains space for hard drives in positions A and B as il-
lustrated below. Each of these positions holds either one 3.5" HDD or two 2.5"
HDDs in a mounting bracket for a total of up to two 3.5" HDDs, four 2.5" HDDs or
a combination of one 3.5" and two 2.5" HDDs in the peripheral drawer.
Installing HDDs into the Peripheral Drawer
1. Secure the drive into the peripheral drawer using one of the two methods
below:
If installing one 3.5" drive , place the drive directly into the peripheral drawer
and secure it to the drawer with the four flat head screws provided.
If installing two 2.5" drives , slide the drives into the bracket and secure
them into the bracket with eight round head screws as illustrated, then secure
the bracket into the drawer, using four flat head screws as illustrated.
