SMBIOS Event Log Standard Settings
Log System Boot Event
Select Enabled to log system boot events. The options are Enabled and
Disabled
.
MECI (Multiple Event Count Increment)
Enter the increment value for the multiple event counter. Enter a number between 1 to 255.
The default setting is
1
.
METW (Multiple Event Count Time Window)
Use this feature to determine how long (in minutes) the multiple event counter should wait
before generating a new event log. Enter a number between 0 to 99. The default setting is
60
.
Note
: Please reboot the system for the changes to take effect.
Customer Options
Log OEM Codes
Select Enabled to log the EFI Status codes as OEM codes if these codes have not been
converted to Legacy. The options are
Enabled
and Disabled.
Convert OEM Codes
Select Enabled to convert the EFI Status codes to standard SMBIOS codes. Please note that
this option is not available for all EFI Status codes. The options are Enabled and
Disabled
.

View System Event Log
This item allows the user to view the event in the system event log. Select this feature and
press <Enter> to view the status of an event in the log. The following categories are displayed:
