YOUNGSTER 3

It is advised that users should not sit in the
wheelchair while riding in any and all means of
transportation.

Only permanently installed seats and seat belts will
offer sufficient protection in hazardous situations.
When vehicles are in motion, unoccupied
wheelchairs should be secured using appropriate
means. Before changing any of the adjustments of
this wheelchair, it is important to read the corres-
ponding section of the user’s manual. It is possible
that potholes or uneven ground could cause this
wheelchair to tip over, especially when riding uphill
or downhill. When riding over a step or up an incline
frontally, the body should be leaning forward.

Transport and thereby the correct securement of
wheelchairs with or without occupants is carried out
entirely at your own risk and/or is the responsibility
of the carer, the driver.
SUNRISE MEDICAL does not take any responsi-
bility for personal and material damage, which is a
direct result of transportation.
This also includes escorts and uninvolved parties as
well as their possessions, which are damaged as a
result of improper transportation.

As indicated on the front cover of this user manual,
identifies whether your chair has been manu-
factured with a Transit Option installed.
