Installing TTYMux Patches
You may have to install the TTYMux patches separately, depending on the version of
Solaris that you are running:
■
If your system is running on Solaris 9 or later, then you do not have to install the
TTYMux patches; they were automatically installed when you loaded your
operating system.
■
If your system is running on Solaris 8 or earlier, then you will have to install the
TTYMux patches separately. Following are the instructions for installing the
TTYMux patches:
1. Determine if you already have the necessary generic patches installed on your
system.
Following are the generic patches that you must have installed on your system first,
before you can install the TTYMux patches:
■
109458-02
■
108528-10
■
111293-04
■
110790-04
To determine if you have the latest version of the patch installed already, enter the
following command:

example, to see if the latest version of patch 109458 is installed, enter the following
command:
■
If you see no output after entering the command, then that patch has not been
installed yet. Locate the patch and install it using the
patchadd
command.
■
If you see output similar to the following after entering the command:
then the patch has been installed already.
■
If the dash level is the same or higher than that shown in Step 1, then you have
the correct version of the patch installed on your server. Go to Step 2.
