Monitoring the System From the Solaris
OS
There are two ways of interrogating the LOM device (SC) or of sending it commands
to perform:

By executing LOM commands from the
lom>
shell prompt.
■
By executing LOM-specific Solaris commands as superuser as described in this
chapter.
The Solaris commands described in this section are run from the
/usr/sbin/lom
utility.
