9. To access the technician menu from the system settings menu, hold down the
vacuum system power button, then press and release the IV pole up
button, and finally press and release the IV pole down button (see figure 5).

10. Push the button next to the icon to return back to the System Settings
menu.
11. Push the button next to the icon to return to the user screen.
12. Next, push the button next to the button next to the icon to display the
error log.
13. Depress the volume reset button to clear the error log screen long
enough to allow the vacuum pump to turn on.
14. Press the button next to the icon.
15. Turn on the suction by pressing the vacuum system power icon and
adjust the suction to 15 in/hg in both canisters.

If only calibrating the large canister, proceed to step 18
. Fill a 1 liter
beaker with warm water and record the fluid amount. In most cases the
volume will not be
exactly
1 liter. Make sure to record the exact value within
1ml. (For example, 1002 ml) This will be used later on in step 27.
