Weathervaning will try to point the nose of the aircraft into the wind, but you should always point the aircraft into the wind prior

to takeoff to increase performance.

The aircraft will also use the main motor, when 2 meters above the ground, to help maintain its position in higher winds. This is called

forward assist and reduces the load on the vertical motors.
