3.3 – Mounting to wall
Hollow wall / timber installation
Instructions
1.
Position the
Mounting bracket
in the desired location on the wall with the hanging
hooks pointing up.
2.
Ensure wall bracket is level and mark the 4 outer holes (Fig 2: A, B, C and D) with
a pencil
3.
Ensure the bracket is level and then secure to the wall using the 4 x 50mm 316
stainless steel countersunk screws provided. -

Note
When securing to a hollow wall, it is recommended timber studs are
located and used for secure fixing. If studs aren’t in correct positing, a
timber board may be required to reinforce installation.
In some circumstances, the installation structure may transmit and
amplify vibrations emitted by the SplashMe Automation Controller. In
this case it is advisable to add a thin rubber membrane behind the
mounting bracket. This will provide a degree of absorption.
