Damper control
This functionality is only available for the damper type with 2
limit switches and motorised actuator.
The damper can be controlled directly via the nviDriveValue of the damper
object or in groups via the FireCompartmentGroup objects of the device.
There are 2 drive commands available:
nviDriveValue
Meaning
Relay status
EMERG_NORMAL Start drive in normal position
tightened
(closed)
EMERG_FIRE
Start drive in safety position
released
(open)
For each movement triggered by a run command, the running times are
checked as described in the next section.
Runtime monitoring
This functionality is only available for the damper type with 2
limit switches and motorised actuator.
When moving the damper from the normal position to the safety position, a
check is made to ensure that the spring return time specified in parameter
SCPToffDely is observed. When the damper returns to the normal position
the compliance with the SCPTdriveTime running time is checked. Detected
exceeding of the running time is indicated by the states "over_range" (when
moving to the protection position) and "under_range" (when moving to the
normal position). If the running time is exceeded, a running time extension is
started, which gives the damper half the running time again to still reach the
target position. If this is not the case, the status "mechanical_fault" is also
displayed. The status is displayed via nvoDriveStatus of the object and
nvoStatus of the NodeObject.
