The Fresh Water Flush
is a 1” NPT (pipe thread) fitting.
Connect the pressurized fresh water supply from the
potable water delivery system to this connection. The
potable water system must supply 5 gpm (20lpm) of po-
table water at 30psi (2 Bar) to fresh water flush the sys-
tems.
The Product Water Outlet
is a 1” NPT (pipe thread).
Route the product water pipe from the
container to the
top of the storage tank. Ideally the product water
should fall into the tank so there is no back pressure on
the product line. Do not feed the water into a manifold
or bottom of the tank and make sure there is no re-
striction in this plumbing.
Backpressure on the prod-
uct water line can cause membrane damage.
The top of the water tank must be no more than 10
feet (3M) above the top of the desalinators frame
and if you need the unit to pump water over 10 ft.
install a transfer tank and a delivery pump.
It is not recommended to use the desalinator as a prod-
uct water delivery pump. If the product water must be delivered up hill or
to a tank more than 50
feet/15M away and/or more than 10feet/3m up run it to a transfer tank and use a separate pump to
move water to the desired location.
Electrical
Connect the main in-
coming power feed to
the AC main discon-
nect panel.
Connect all wires in
accordance with local
regulations.
Wire should be sized
for 30Amp max current
draw at 220VAC.
Note: The photo above shows the temporary wiring we used for testing the unit. Follow all local codes
and best practices when making the connections to the power source on site.
All internal wiring is complete to the main distribution panel, with separate circuits that are clearly la-
beled. All equipment should be in the off position when applying power for the first time.
