3.3 Changing the Radial Shaft Seal

Komplett demontiertes Gehäuse auf die offene Seite stellen, und mit
einem Schraubendreher vorsichtig die defekten Radialwellendichtringe
aushebeln bzw. entnehmen (Bild 27/28). Die defekten Radialwellen-
dichtringe durch neue Radialwellendichtringe ersetzen.
ACHTUNG: Mit Schraubendreher nicht das Gehäuse verletzen!
Mit Einpresswerkzeug die neuen Radialwellendichtringe richtig orien-
tiert einpressen (Bild 29).
Place the completely dismantled crankcase on its open side. Carefully
remove / lever out the defective radial shaft seals using a screwdriver
(photo 27, 28) and replace them with new ones.
IMPORTANT Do not damage the casing with the screwdriver.
Press in the new radial shaft seal rings carefully and correctly using a
pressing tool (photo 29).
