5-3-6. Setting Menu
This menu can set the resistance value, head voltage value, and USB serial number that must be input dur-
ing replacement of parts, or reset the history.
Setting

Head Resistance: Input the resistance value of a new thermal head during replacement of a thermal
head. The value of Voltage is automatically calculated when you input the resistance
value. (Refer to Section 2-2-3.)

Head Voltage: The voltage value of the thermal head is adjusted during replacement of a thermal
head. The adjustment value is automatically calculated when a voltage value is input
in
[Resistance]
. However, adjust the adjustment value manually when print density
is improper. The voltage value changes 150 at a time every time you click the spin
button once. (Refer to Section 2-2-5.)

Take Up Ratio: Input the adjustment value described in a new ribbon drive assembly during replace-
ment of a ribbon drive assembly. (Refer to Section 2-3-1.)

USB Serial: Set a USB serial number during replacement of an MA-140 board.
(Refer to Section 2-5-5.)

: Writes the value of each input item into the nonvolatile memory.
