2-2-5. Density Adjustment
n
When the thermal head resistance value is not set, the adjustment becomes improper.
Be sure to perform the setting of the thermal head resistance value in advance. (Refer to Section 2-2-3.)
1. Perform the adjustment of head voltage as the procedure below when density differs (deep or light).
(1) Start the service mode. (Refer to Section 5-2.)
(2) Click the
[Setting]
button.
A Setting screen then appears.
(3) Click the
[Open]
button of the Setting.
A Setting screen then appears.
(4) Click the spin button in Head Voltage box for adjustment.
When the density is deep
;
Set the numeric value of Voltage to minus in the range of
_
300 to
_
600.
When the density is light
:
Set the numeric value of Voltage to plus in the range of
+
300 to
+
600.
n
The Voltage value changes 150 at a time every time you click once.
(5) Click the
[Apply]
button, then click the
[Close]
button.
(6) Click the
[Print|step]
in a Diag Menu and print a test pattern (16STEP).
