2-3. Ribbon Drive Assembly
1. Replace the ribbon drive assembly. (Refer to Section 1-6-2.)
2. Sets the ratio of takeup tension. (Refer to Section 2-3-1.)
2-3-1. Setting of Takeup Tension Ratio
1. Starts the service mode. (Refer to Section 5-2.)
2. Click
the
[Setting]
button.
A Setting screen then appears.
3. Click the
[Open]
button of the Setting.
A Setting screen then appears.
4. Enter the value (described in item “C” at the bottom) written down during replacement of a ribbon
drive assembly (refer to Section 1-6-2) without using a decimal point in Take Up Ratio box.
Example: 1.54 → 154
5. Click the
[Apply]
button, then click the
[Close]
button.
6. Click the
[Print|step]
in a Diag Menu and print a test pattern (16STEP).
7. Check that the test pattern is printed normally.
