2-7. Service Motor Assembly (MD-156)
When replacing the service motor assembly (MD-156) and when disassembling or assembling the PAN/
TILT mechanical portion or cabinet of the PAN/TILT movable portion, perform the following procedure.

Prepare the 3G-SDI compatible monitor.
Prepare the 3G-SDI level A mapping.

Latest SNC toolbox

Install the SNC toolbox according to Section 2-1-2 in advance.
2-7-2. PAN/TILT Operation Check of this Unit
Procedure
1. Connect the devices as follows.
2. Turn on the power of this unit.
The startup may take 5 minutes longer than normal to complete because the data is written in the
microcomputer for controlling the motor.
3. Wait until the image is output on the SDI monitor.
4. Change the IP address of this unit and PC according to Section 2-1-3.
5. Check the image by accessing this unit from PC according to Section 2-1-4.
6. Check that the operation is normal.
The service motor assembly (MD-156) consists of the MD-156 board and two stepping motors. All
of these parts need to be replaced at a time. Otherwise, problems such as unstable PAN/TILT opera-
tion may occur. For details, refer to Section 1-4-9.
