Set the recording audio levels on the meter panel.

Use the PORT SELECT button to select the recording port.

Hold down the REC button and press the PLAY button.
Recording starts. At this point:
• If no material is assigned to the selected recording port, a new material is
automatically assigned.
• If material is already assigned to the selected recording port (and the
MAV-777 is stopped after recording), the new recording starts from the
point where the previous recording stopped.

To stop recording, press the STOP button.
Notes
• The name of a new material consists of the name (up to 18 characters long)
specified in Material Prefix of CP Setup mode and a 4-digit number.
• After unloading material, it is not possible to record at the end of that
material by normal recording operations (it is not possible to LOAD the
material on a recording port).
• When new material is created, before recording, the STOP button flashes
momentarily when the new material is loaded, informing you that material
has been loaded.
