Enter Material mode.

If the size of the cutout that you defined in step 2 with the IN and OUT
points is satisfactory, hold down the SHIFT key and press B3 (Cut Out
Material).
The defined cutout is taken from the material currently loaded on the port
and used to create a new material. When you perform the cut, the new
material is assigned a material name of the previously assigned format and
saved. The cursor moves to the name of the newly created material.*
*The material name format is defined in the CP Setup Mode with item 0008:
Material Prefix feature as a character string with a four-digit suffix.
6-2-12 Modifying Page Data
Finished edit data appears in page format and can be modified at any time.
Pages can be handled only after Video/Audio mode has been selected.

If you are in a mode other than Edit mode, hold down the MODE button
and press the L2 button to enter Edit mode.

Press the SHIFT+B1 (BS) keys, or the SHIFT+ B2 (FS) keys to display the
page containing the data that you want to modify.

Modify the edit point(s) using functions such as trimming.
For details on how to modify edit points, see “To modify selected edit points” (page
6-16).

If necessary, press the PREVIEW button to preview.
