Operating Modes
3-6 CP Setup Mode
3-6-3 Key Assignments in CP Setup Mode
In the CP Setup mode, the function keys to the left of and below the liquid
crystal display (B1 to B7, and L1 to L11) are assigned to the following
functions.
3-6-4 Carrying Out Control Panel Setup
For setup, use the following procedure.

Enter CP Setup mode.

Press L1 (General Setup), L2 (Material Setup), L3 (Edit Setup), L4 (Timer
Rec/Play Setup) L5 (Dual Play Setup), or L6 (Port Setup) to select the
category containing the item you want to set.
The settings of the category matching the pressed key appear.

Using the MULTI CONTROL knob, move the cursor to the item you want
to change.

Press B1 (Set).
The dialog box of the setting selected in Step 3 appears.
To leave the item unchanged, press B6 (Cancel). The dialog box closes
and the display returns to the previous screen.

Enter the setting value.
Depending on the item being set, enter the desired setting using the
MULTI CONTROL knob or function keys.

To save the new setting, press B7 (OK).

values in the various dialog boxes.
