4-5. SSP-27A/SSP-27B Board
SSP-27A board/SSP-27B board (DEC-177 board)
It separates the audio and video tracks, encoded using AES, from the audio and video MXF track fi les of
DCP data for AES decoding. The decoded PCM audio data is converted into an AES/EBU digital audio
format and output from AUDIO OUTPUT2 (CN1) as a 16-CH balance signal. And simultaneously, it is
sent to the PU-131 board through the MB-1143 board and output from AUDIO OUTPUT1 (CN3201) on
the PU-131 board as an 8-CH unbalance output signal.
The JPEG2000 compressed video data is decoded into the 4K base band data in the JPEG2000 decoding
block and rearranged in a VIF block (IC1801) consisting of FPGA and DDR memory. Then, it is sent to
the MIX BLOCK (IC3201).
The caption data is stored in the DDR memory of a caption block through LVDSIF and sent to the MIX
block at the display timing synchronized with a video signal.
In the MIX block, the caption data is converted from 2K to 4K and overlaid on video data. The data is
then output from CN5 and CN6 to a projector through an output signal processing block.

Never pull out the SSP-27A/27B board because there is a circuit that stores data using a battery.
4-6. DP-455 Board
The DP-455 board is mainly used for service maintenance or manufacturing adjustment. It mounts LEDs
(READY, PLAY, and ALARM) or switches (start mode selection/test signal reproduction) displayed on
the front panel of this unit. Each LED or switch is connected to FPGA (IC1602) on the PU-131 board
using PLD (IC200).
4-7. IF-1036 Board
The IF-1036 board has a function that supplies power to the SATA signal from the PU-131 board, the
interface circuit to HDD, and HDD. The IF-1036 board and HDD are integrated as the unit structure
called a caddy. They can be thus replaced each other.
4-8. IF-1180/IF-1036A Board
The IF-1180 board has a function that supplies power to the SATA signal from the PU-131 board, the
interface circuit to SSD, and SSD. The IF-1180 board and SSD are integrated as the unit structure called a
caddy. They can be thus replaced each other.
Moreover, the IF-1036A board may be included in the old SSD. The IF-1036A board must be distin-
guished from the IF-1036 board for HDD, because of the IF-1036A board mounts difference ROM.
