Front panel
1-2. Cleaning of Air Filter
In this unit, an air fi lter is attached to the back of the front panel. If dust adheres to the fi lter, the air fl ow is
interrupted and the inside of unit gets hot, which may cause a performance problem of this unit.
It is recommended to periodically clean the air
fi lter depending on the environment and the status of use
in the theater.
Cleaning
1. Turn off the power of this unit.
2. Remove the front panel assembly.
(Refer to step 10 in Section 1-1.)
3. Remove the fi lter in the direction of the arrow.
4. Vacuum the dust adhered to the fi lter.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
1-3. Lead-free Solder
Boards requiring use of lead-free solder are printed with a lead free mark (LF) indicating the solder
contains no lead.
(Caution: Some printed circuit boards may not come printed with the lead free mark due to their particular
size.)

Be sure to use the lead-free solder for the printed circuit board printed with the lead free mark.

The lead-free solder melts at a temperature about 40
d
C higher than the ordinary solder, therefore, it is
recommended to use the soldering iron having a temperature regulator.

The ordinary soldering iron can be used but the iron tip has to be applied to the solder joint for a slightly
longer time. The printed pattern (copper foil) may peel away if the heated tip is applied for too long, so
be careful.
