6. Insert the HDD to be installed into the speci fi ed slot
with the levers pressed against the handle (see Fig. 1).
When the levers start rotating in the direction of the
arrow A, gently pushing the levers in the direction of
the arrow A and install the unit (see Fig. 2).

Be careful not to give any vibration and impact to HDD.
7. Check that all indicators on the upper portion of the
slot are lit (or fl ashing).
8. Check that the ALARM indicator (D112) on the
DP-455 board is lit (or fl ashing) in green.
9. Stick the same HDD No. label as was stuck on the
replaced HDD in the position shown in the fi gure.
10. Attach the front panel. (Refer to Section 3-2-1.)
