unit (including its display) acts erratically. In order to do so, press the button located under the
removable front panel for 3 seconds using a thin, sharp object. The equipment will switch off and
will return to factory default condition. This operation is required after installation, before switching
on the unit for the first time, furthermore when the vehicle’s battery is replaced.

In case of proper connection, current time is visible on the display in switched off position. To switch
on the unit, press the
POWER
button briefly. To switch it off, press the button again.
• Later on, it will automatically switch to the most recently used function after being switched on unless
the external storage device has been removed in the meantime.

engine has been started. Turn off the unit before stopping the engine.

• When listening to music on higher volume, do not emphasize significantly high and low tones, as this
may cause distortion!
PHYSIOLOGICAL TONE ADJUSTMENT
The human ear perceives less of low and high frequency sounds at smaller volume. By turning
LOUDNESS
function on, at low volume, automatic tone adjustment depending on volume, will correct
this effect. The lower the volume, the higher the bass and treble frequency boost. It is recommended to
switch off this function at higher volume, since it may cause distorted sound.
• In order to get better sound quality, before using this function it is recommended to choose EQ OFF
setting, and set the equalizers to „0” position.
• The larger the volume, the less noticeable effect on the automatic tone correction.
