4.5.3. Position of the motor arm marking
Attention
The motor arm marking must not exceed the central marking
and thus be located in the prohibited alignment zone at the risk of
damaging the motor.
If the motor arm marking is between the gate leaf arm markings,
a measurement of the force of impact aer the auto-program-
ming process must be taken to check compliance with the safety
standards.

4.5.4. Fit the lower closing stop
3)
Place the lower closing stop against the buffer (opposite side to the
pillar mounting plate).
4)
Push the arm to check compliance with the
arm
marking.
If the motor arm marking is located in the prohibited arm alignment
zone, move the closing stop one notch to return to the alignment zone
subject to a force of impact measurement.
4.5.5. Mount the gate leaf bracket
5)
Push the arm manually so that the lower closing stop is pushing
against the buffer.
Attention
This stage is important in ensuring that the gate leafs press against
it as required.
6)
Check the horizontality of the arms.
7)
Mark the drilling points on the gate leaf.
8)
Remove the arm and drill the gate leaf.
9)
Fasten the bracket to the material of the gate leaf using suitable bolts
(bolts not supplied).
• First fasten the 2 bolts to the light cut-outs on the plate.
• Once adjusted, tighten the 3rd fastening bolt on the plate to avoid it
slipping over time.
Attention
Ensure that all 3 fastening holes on the plate are used to ensure
that the arm is firmly held on the gate leaf throughout the product’s
service life.
If the marking on the motor semi-arm is located in the alignment
zone of the gate leaf semi-arm, it is essential to take a measure-
ment of the force of impact aer auto-programming in order to
check that the installation complies with the safety standards.
Assembling the upper opening stop
10)
Open the gate leaf to the desired angle.
11)
Place the upper opening stop against the buffer (on the pillar mounting
plate side).
