4. INSTALLING THE STANDARD KIT
4.1. Assembling the motor
4.1.1. Alignment of the vertical axis AM on the pillar
Opening angle of the gate
Distance A between the hinge
and the axis AM to be defined
Less than or equal to 90°
Min. 70 mm
Greater than 90°
Between 70 and 150 mm

4.1.2. Alignment of the horizontal axis AH on the pillar
1)
Trace a horizontal axis AH in the middle of the reinforcement, perpen-
dicular to the rotational axis of the gate.
Note:
If the gate has no reinforcements, place the motors approximately
1/3 of the way up the gate leaves from the bottom.

Extend this line on the pillar until it intersects with AM.
4.1.3. Mounting the motor

Place the motor/pillar mounting plate 54 mm above AH.
Note:
For installations with special arms, see “6. Installing special arms”.
4)
Check that it is horizontal.
5)
Mark the drilling points and drill.
Note:
For improved adjustment, use the round holes for the marking,
drill, then turn the mounting plate over and secure using the oblong
holes.
6)
Fit the fastening bolts on the pillar mounting plate then tighten com-
pletely.
7)
Slide the spacers onto the fastening bolts.
8)
Position and secure the motor.
9)
Check that it is horizontal.
