Disassembly of Housing
Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the
two (2) screws (located on the top of the
housing) and the threaded retainer bar (located
under the housing) from the connector.
Pull apart the upper and lower housing shells
to reveal the wiring terminals.
Installing or Removing Cables
Using a 10 mm end wrench, remove the nuts
on the wiring terminal posts.
When installing or removing cables on
the terminal posts, they must be passed
THROUGH the lower cable housing. If
installing new cables to the connector, pay
attention to the polarity of the cables as they
are being installed. Polarity is indicated by (+)
and (-) symbols on the housing.
Cables must have the proper ring terminals
installed for proper fit onto the terminal post.
They should be secured by the flat washer,
lock washer, and 10 mm nut.
NOTICE
Do not overtighten nut when installing
onto post. The post is made of soft, highly
conductive alloy and can be damaged if too
much torque is applied.

WARNING
Incorrect polarity may cause damage or fire!
Reassembly of Housing
The upper housing shell has a small square
notch and the lower shell has a small square
tab that align when the connector and cover are
properly installed.
Once the upper and lower housing shells are
properly fitted together, the Phillips-head cover
bolts can be reinstalled through the top of the
housing, and the retainer bar can be replaced.
Securely tighten the Phillips-head cover bolts.
The Inter-Connect is now ready for operation.
