It should be considered that the actuator cycle time is 5% - 95%, this means that for each movement that the actuator
exerts, the actuator must remain OFF 19 times the time of this movement takes to dissipate the accumulated heat.
•
It is recommended to remove the voltage of the actuator after 40s from the start of each maneuver.
•
Once the flap is installed, check that the limit switches work according to what is established in
Fig. 8.
•
It is delivered from the factory with the flap routes adjusted, however, it is recommended to check the end of the
closing path. This check consists of verifying that, while maintaining the closing signal, the flap reaches the full closing
position and once this position is achieved the actuator/actuators light turns on. If one of the above two conditions
(incorrect closing or pilot actuator OFF) is not accomplished, the end of the closing route must be adjusted as follows:
o
If keeping the closing signal the flap does not reach the full closing position and the actuator/actuators light
remains on, the space between the flap and the frame must be reduced, keeping the closing signal and
turning the regulator off closing in the counterclockwise direction, until the flap is completely closed and the
pilot actuator remains active.
o
If keeping the closing signal the flap reaches the complete closing position but the actuator/actuators pilot is
not activated, the space between the flap and the frame must be increased, keeping the closing signal and
turning the closing regulator clockwise, until the flap is completely closed and the pilot actuator remains
active.
The signalization LED is located at the same end where the actuator wiring comes out
(Fig. 9).
The closing regulator is located in the opposite extreme where there is the LED
(Fig. 10).
7. Maintenance
Maintenance must be performed by qualified technicians.
•
It is not advisable to use chemical cleaners or aggressive substances, as they could damage the equipment.
•
If a part must be replaced, consult the distributor.
•
It is recommended to make a visual inspection and a test cycle (opening and closing) once a year.
•
In cases where the hatch needs to be open without opening the actuator, pull on the pin's extraction cable
(Figure 3).
8. Disposal
Careless or negligent disposal of the equipment may cause contamination. The disposal process must be carried out in
compliance with the standards and regulations applicable in the country.
9. Warranty
Incorrect use of the equipment and failure to observe the instructions in this manual may result in cancellation of the warranty.
