Command Usage
• This command runs accounting for Exec service requests for the local console
and Telnet connections.
• Note that the
default
and
method-name
fields are only used to describe the
accounting method(s) configured on the specified RADIUS or
servers, and do not actually send any information to the servers about the
methods to use.
Example
aaa accounting commands
This command enables the accounting of Exec mode commands. Use the
no
form
to disable the accounting service.

- The privilege level for executing commands. (Range: 0-15)

- Specifies the default accounting method for service requests.

Specifies an accounting method for service requests.
(Range: 1-255 characters)

start-stop
- Records accounting from starting point and stopping point.

group
- Specifies the server group to use.

- Specifies all hosts configure with the
tacacs-server
host
command described on page 4-98.

Specifies the name of a server group configured with the
aaa group server
command described on 4-101. (Range: 1-255
characters)
