3.2.1 Display Console Problems
DISPLAY CONSOLE PROBLEMS are difficult to isolate because of the interaction between the display
console and the computer unit. Failure of either unit, or interconnection of the two units, will cause a
malfunction of the display console indications. No “FAULT” diagnoses of other system problems can be
carried out without the proper function of the display console and its communication with the computer
unit.
To solve problems using di splay console indications, carefully observe the display console at “power
on” and through self -test. Next, use the charts in SECTIONS 2.3.1-2.3.4 to help decide the course of
action.
