8. REMOTE CONTROL INTERFACE - WEB GATE
Setting up the remote control
HMI panel can be operated remotely only through the Internet Explorer web browser or Edge, provided that the
following requirements are met:
If the used web is Microsoft Edge make sure that the Edge browser is set to run in <Internet
Explorer= mode. The setting can be found from the browser settings.

The control centre is connected to an Ethernet network. Ethernet port is located inside the control centre, bottomside of
the HMI panel.

Assign IP address to the HMI panel.

The following program has been installed in the remote control PC. Schneider, Web_Gate_Client_Files.exe. The file is
delivered with the control centre in USB-flash memory. USB flash memory is attached to the USB-port in the display
unit.
Assigning an IP address to the HMI panel
First, switch the user interface to configuration mode by tapping the top left corner of the touch screen and,
within half a second, the bottom right corner.

In the Configuration menu, select the Offline tab and Network.

Enter the IP address, netmask and gateway in their relevant fields
