/Echo sounder
In this mode the upper half of the screen shows a 180
°
bow up
presentation, while the lower part is used for an echo sounder
recording. That means that the sonar acts alternately as a
normal sonar and an echo sounder for each second
transmission.

When selecting this mode, the lower half of the screen will be
dark. A recording will then be built up from right to left on the
screen, and store the last 512 transmissions.
Most of the vertical settings as range, gain etc. may be selected
separately in the VERTICAL menu (refer to chapter 5.25 in
section Operation).
