When the seine circle is selected, and the GEAR button is pressed
when shooting the net, both the time and the amount of the shot
net start running. If an echo sounder is connected to the sonar, the
bottom profile will be drawn.
The indicators for the sinking of the net can be manually set by the
sinking rate in the GEAR menu, or automatically when a depth
sensor system is connected to the sonar.
The depth marker line with depth marker readout can be moved
up and down by the menu joystick for depth measurements in the
catch data page. The vertical range can be changed by moving this
depth marker to the scale end.
The volume estimation of the school is based on the selected type
of fish in the SCHOOL DATA menu. Note that this value can be
adjusted according to experience.
