Replacing the instrument pumps

When replacing the instrument pumps, always ensure that the O-rings are mounted
correctly.

The following describes the replacement of the instrument pumps behind the tank. The pro-
cedure is the same for both pumps:

WORKSTEP

Remove the casing on the system so that the
instrument pumps (circle) can be accessed.

Close the sample feed and drain the water
tank by pressing the

Drain tank

button (Sec-

tion 7.1).

The pump may only be oper-

ated dry for a maximum of 60
seconds. Danger of overheating!

Remove the connector from the instrument
pump.

The connector is found on the connec-

tion cable, which is approximately 10 cm
long.

Loosen the pipe on the pump outlet.
