requires the knowledge of the precise order of installation of all devices within the line(s).
ZONE
− represents the ‘room-address’
− alarm events are shown on the ‘zone level’
− each zone has its own user text
− is part of the logical structure
ELEMENT
− represents the ‘detector-address’ within a zone
− is always allocated to a zone (automatically done during the linking ‘device to zone’)
− can have its own user text instead of the ZONE user text (only in special cases)
DEVICE
− physical device (detector, call point, etc.) within the detection line
− each device must be linked to a zone
− is part of the physical structure
