Procedure
1. replace K3X020 ph3 by K3X020 ph4
2. insert the F20A040 LCD adapter cable (6) to fit the ’ph3’-LCD (7) to K3X020 ’ph4’
3. change the EOL on the control lines ’K3’/’K5’ (2) from 12k

4. insert a K3K040 RS232 adapter 9 pin connector -> terminals (9) if field wiring is connected
5. check whether jumper ’ST14’ (5) is set (supply mode: mains + battery ’K9’), details see page 53
6. check output ’K8’ (1) there are now 2 separate fuses (’F1’/’F2’), details see page 40,53
7. disconnect/re-connect the detector loops (3), K3X020 ’ph4’ has another type of terminals for the loops
8. insert ’ph4’ EPROMs (8) EP1 4MB, EP2 2MB or 4MB, ’ph3’ EPROMs are not compatible
9. update EPROMs (4) on B3Q5xx to
