5.5 Installation as a direct drive for spindles

1PH1 main motors

Equipment Manual, 09/2021, A5E51077676A-AA

Install the spindle in the headstock.

You need to align the location flange for the motor centering shoulder to ensure that the

motor shaft and spindle shaft are precisely aligned. Make sure that the radial/axial runout

deviation does not exceed 0.01 mm.

For centering the motor, we recommend a G6 fit for the motor location flange.
