Grounding the shielded encoder cable

NOTICE
Cable shielding

The encoder cable must be shielded to meet the EMC requirements. The maximum

permissible length is 30 m.

To ensure better EMC compliance, you are recommended to strip the encoder cable and

connect the cable shield to earth to enhance the grounding effect.
