● If you exit the EVENTS configuration mode with the
exit
command, you return to the
Global configuration mode.

syslogserver
Description
With this command, you configure the Syslog server.
Requirement
You are in the EVENTS configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config-events)#
Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
syslogserver { ipv4 <ucast_addr> | fqdn-name <FQDN> | ipv6
<ip6_addr>} [<port(1-65535)>]
The parameters have the following meaning:

If you do not select any parameters from the parameter list, the default value is used.
