● PRP Network
Specify the PRP network in which the port is a member.
● AP Redundancy (only in client mode)
– Radio
Prevents the two clients of a client pair connecting on the same WLAN interface of the
access point.
– Disabled
When the best access point for a client is the same access point (same WLAN interface)
as that of the partner client, a check is made as to whether there is another access point
whose signal strength is < 10 dB worse than that of the best access point. In this case the
client connects to this access point, otherwise it connects to the same, best access point
as the partner client.
– Device
Prevents the two clients of a client pair from connecting to the same access point no
matter which interface is used.
Procedure
1. Select the VLAN assignment for PRP A from the "PRP A" drop-down list.
2. Select the VLAN assignment for PRP B from the "PRP B" drop-down list.
3. Specify the PRP network in which the port is a member.
4. Make the setting for "AP Redundancy".
5. Select the "Enable iPRP" setting. Click the "Set Values" button.
The appropriate VLAN settings are made automatically.
