8.1
Setting up the IP camera
1.
Mount the lens on the IP camera.

Connect a monitor to the video output (

) using a BNC cable.
WARNING
Danger of burns from the housing of the IP camera
The housing of the IP camera becomes hot during operation.

Do not touch the housing of the IP camera.
CAUTION
Danger of overheating for the IP camera
During operation of the IP camera, there is a danger that the unit will overheat.
This affects the service life of the unit.
1.
Ensure that there is sufficient air circulation for cooling.
2.
Do not operate the IP camera in its protective housing.
3.
Connect the power supply.
IP camera with separate power supply

Connect the power supply to the power supply connection (

IP camera with network connection (

Ensure that the network equipment (such as the switch/hub/router) supports
Power Over Ethernet (POE).
CAUTION
Ensure that the polarity is correct for DC power supply.
Connection errors can cause malfunctions and/or damage to the IP camera.

In order to reduce the electromagnetic radiation sufficiently, wrap the cable
once around the core (see Fig. 2).
