Operating the system unit

Power switch

Lock

Floppy disk drive

Drive cover

At the front of the system unit you will find the power switch, the lock and the floppy disk
drive.

The power switch and drive can only be used if the housing is unlocked and the drive
cover has been pushed to the side.

Power switch

The power switch serves to turn the system unit on and off.

Lock

With this lock you can mechanically lock the drive cover and housing of the system unit.

Floppy disk drive

The floppy disk drive is used to store programs and data on floppy disks and to load data
from floppy disks into your PC.

Further information is provided in the chapter "Working with Floppy Disks".

Drive cover

With the drive cover you can prevent the power switch and the disk drive from being
used.
