9. Communications
This Inverter is equipped with a powerful communications interface and options. User can
monitor the real-time operation status of 10 or more Inverters simultaneously through using
web-linked program “
Pro Control ”. Also, qualified personnel can upgrade the firmware by
using the USB port if required.
9.1 USB (on Inverter)
The PV inverter is equipped with a versatile communications interface, a USB port at
underside of the device, which allows user to use “Pro Control” to monitor the real-time status
of multiple Inverters. Firmware upgrade is also conducted via this interface.
Connecting laptop PC to Inverter via USB type-A to type-B adapter cable.
9.2. Communications slot for RS-485
PV inverter has an extended slot for an optional communication interface. Through installing
a RS-485 card or compliant card to extend the communication function of the Inverter. To use
this slot, please use a screwdriver to open the cover, insert the card into the slot and wire
through the rubber bushing.
