6. Operation of PV inverter
6.1 DC Switch Usage
The PV inverter starts up automatically once the DC-power from PV Panel is sufficient and
fuse is closed. However, if a DC switch is integrated at underside of the device, user has also
to switch it on in order to feed power to the device.

The Inverter LCD screen will illuminate up at 260V

6.2 Initialization for Regulation Type Setting

The Inverter provides a “Select Safety” function at the first time start-up as a process in
which user is able to select the intended language displayed and regulation type before
starting normal operation.

The Inverter will not able to operate normally before regulation setting is completed
even though it is connected correctly at both DC input and AC output.

The following flowchart illustrates the process of “Select Safety”. For example, if users
in German need to set regulatory type to VDE0126-1-1/A1, user has to power on the
Inverter start “Select Safety” process. Firstly user has to scroll the menu to the intended
regulatory page by button control, then hold on to the “OK” button for 5 more seconds
until “Regulation Setting OK” message appeared, the regulatory setting is completed.
