Electrical installation
5.1
Overview of the installation steps
•
Connect the power supply of the NAV210.
•
Wire the switching outputs (depending on application).
•
Connect the PC temporarily (configuration).
•
Wire the data interface for operation.
5.2
NAV210 connections
•
The NAV210 has 2 multi-pin M12 round connectors. The connections are located on the
corresponding male or female connectors.
•
The NAV210 has an M8 round connector on the front of the device to connect to the
RS-232 interface of a PC. This interface is only used for configuration and must not be
wired permanently.

NOTE:
Only authorized personnel are allowed to perform electrical installation work.

Do not open the housing.

Observe the current safety regulations when working on electrical systems.
Disconnect the power to the system!
The system could inadvertently start while you are connecting the device.
▸
Make sure that the entire system is disconnected from the power supply during the
electrical installation work.
