Product features and functionality
The Lector64x and Lector65x image-based code readers are available in the following
device variants:
•
Lector64x Flex, Lector65x Flex (basic device)
•
Lector65x Dynamic Focus (complete device)
The basic device (Flex device variant) is equipped with a C-mount thread. The user
compiles the basic device depending on the application case. We recommend only
using products from SICK as components. Optionally, the user can order an applica‐
tion-specific optics kit (lens, integratable VI88I illumination unit, spacer, optics protec‐
tive hood) separately as an accessory. The complete device (Dynamic Focus device
variant) is already equipped with a pre-assembled lens and a pre-assembled integrated
illumination unit.
The intuitive device equipment – featuring function buttons, auto-setup, laser alignment
aid, an acoustic feedback signal, and a green feedback LED – reduces the amount of
work required for training and installation.
