3-6 Adding Multiple Measurements
Multiple samples are weighed consecutively and the sum is displayed.
You can choose to replace samples (cumulate function) for each addition or leave the
previous samples on the scale as you add more (net addition function).
The addition function can be used in simple weight measurement mode, the counting mode,
the percentage weighing mode and the unit conversion mode.
3-6-1 Addition function settings

Go to the function setting mode.
(Refer to Section 2-6 “Basics of Function
Settings.”)
Press and hold the [Function] key until “Func” is
displayed.

Select the addition function. Press the [Function] key several times to select “2. SEL.”
Press the [Zero/Tare] key to select “2. SEL 1.”
When using both the cumulate and limit functions
together, select “2. SEL 3.”
For more information on the limit function, refer to
Section 3-7 “Judging between Too Heavy and
Too Light (Limit Function).”

Select cumulate or net addition. Press the [Function] key. After “2C.Add.” is displayed,
press the [Zero/Tare] key to set the value.

2: Net addition function
Details of “2C.Ad.”
[1: Cumulate function] Continue measurements by replacing samples after each addition.
[2: Net addition function] Continue measurements by adding samples without replacing them after each
addition. The balance automatically sets the tare range after each addition.

Finish making settings. Press the [Set] key.
The addition function is set.
