Operation
Set the mark on the throttle lever to the midway position
between “H” and “L”.
Holding the fuel tank with your left hand, but without
moving the mower, hold the recoil starter handle and quickly
pull it to this side.
The engine will start. If it is pulled several times and the
engine still does not start, contact our sales office.
Pull the handle to about 4/5 of the maximum length of
the cable.
Return the recoil starter handle carefully to its housing.
When the engine has started, gradually open the choke
to full.
After the engine has started, run to warm up for 2 or 3
minutes.
<Engine Shut-Down>
Set the mark on the throttle lever to “L” position.
Turn the engine hand switch counterclockwise and set
it to ”OFF”.
The engine will be shut down. Pressing the switch on
the engine can also shut down the engine.
If any emergency occurs, including white smoke from
the engine, immediately stop the engine.
Close the fuel cock.
