Adjustment of Each Section
<Adjustment of Each Section of Engine>
•œ
The adjustment of parts (including the carburetor) when dealing with engine trouble might affect the
basic performance of the machine. In such case, ask for our sales office.
<Brake Adjustment>
•œ
Always stop the engine and disengage the
main and cutting blade clutches before
adjusting the brake.
•œ
Do not adjust the brake immediately after the
engine has stopped. Wait until the engine
has cooled.

Turn the front cover set knob counter-clockwise and
remove the set knob. After removing the knob, open the
cover upwards.

Turn the nut which prevents brake cable loosening,
counterclockwise, using a spanner.

Turn the cable adjusting nut with a spanner and hold the
brake lever tightly. Then pull the machine to this side.
Then adjust it so that the transport tires are locked.

After adjustment, fasten the loosening preventive nut
clockwise to set the length of the cable.

The brake cable adjustment is available at the brake
cable fixture position at the rear of the handle. If the
adjustment is not enough on the tire side, adjust it at this
location.
•œ
Following the “Brake Performance Check” on page 17,
check the brake performance.
•œ
Make sure that the brake does not hold when the brake
lever is released.
